The Poise candle holder is designed to bring light, balance and grace. A subtle statement piece that seemingly allows the light to float, but always holding it solidly in place – a small sculpture in its own right. Poise is sand cast in aluminium with a raw finish and polished flat surfaces, emphasising the qualities of the material.

The Designer

Based in Copenhagen, Signe Hytte draws inspiration from nature, culture and art with the intent to create objects that tell a story.

Formerly working as Head of Design for Danish furniture brand &tradition, Signe Hytte merges an artistic outlook with a commercial understanding. Apart from product design, she works as a creative consultant.

When Suave started designing the Cup Bowls, they began with the smallest of the three, making a transition between a cup and a bowl, with a base detail inspired by the delicate curves of porcelain teacups. The bowls work well as a serving set or a sculptural nesting composition. Each hand-turned Cup Bowl is never exactly like another.

Âncora, designed by Christian Haas, is a dinner candleholder in sandcast aluminium. Its dual cavity form enables us to display the candleholder in two ways with a simple rotation. In one position, the height is greater than the other - this allows us to create a beautiful table scape with candles at different heights. Available in pitted semi-polishes finish or raw, the candleholder is both a sculpture to admire and a functional object to make use of.
