Poise Candle Holder - Horizontal

The Poise candle holder is designed to bring light, balance and grace. A subtle statement piece that seemingly allows the light to float, but always holding it solidly in place – a small sculpture in its own right. Poise is sand cast in aluminium with a raw finish and polished flat surfaces, emphasising the qualities of the material.

The Designer

Based in Copenhagen, Signe Hytte draws inspiration from nature, culture and art with the intent to create objects that tell a story.

Every design is an expression of a feeling, a dream, or an idea that has been stripped to its core, leaving only the most essential characteristics behind.

Formerly working as Head of Design for Danish furniture brand &tradition, Signe Hytte merges an artistic outlook with a commercial understanding. Apart from product design, she works as a creative consultant.
