Mantis

The Mantis series has been designed by Bernard Schottlander. He was born in Mainz, Germany, in 1924 and moved to England in 1939. He is not only a designer, but also a sculptor and engineer. He describes himself as a designer for interiors and a sculptor for exteriors.

DCW editions publishes the Mantis collection created by Bernard Schottlander, a German designer in 1951.



This talented designer, to create his collection, is inspired by Alexander Calder's work on mobiles.

The Mantis BS3 table lamp is made of steel and aluminium and offers mobile and efficient lighting and above all optimal stability. Its 360° rotating foot allows it to be tilted in four positions. Its lampshade is also adjustable in order to precisely illuminate the desired area.
A designer and very functional lamp !

It can be found comfortably on a work table or in a living room where it decorates your home elegantly.

Its base is 20cm and its height is 52cm adjustable up to 82cm.
The E27 LED bulb is not supplied, we recommend a light source of maximum 11W.
