The long and short wall lamps belonging to the TM collection feature a wooden channel into which a parchment shade is partially inserted. The shorter version can be affixed directly to the wall or comes with an optional outer cable which doubles up as a light switch.

The TMM wall lamp is part of Miguel Milá’s collection for TRAMO, the company he founded to produce his own work in post-war Spain. He was starting off in a profession that he would later go on to master. He was a pre-industrial designer seeking convenient solutions with the technology available. Milá’s words, like his pieces, have an incredible depth that lies beneath their simplicity.

The TMM series wall lights consist of a simple beech wood or satin nickel channel with a cardboard shade or a methacrylate shade.

Miguel Milá offers a brilliant lesson of good taste and minimalism in an an exquisite demonstration of formal serenity and functional efficiency.
